Description

Kauai Path is a community organization with the vision of Kauai residents working together to preserve, protect, and extend access island-wide through the design, implementation, and stewardship of non-vehicular paths. This multi-phase trail hopes to unite large portions of the Kauai coastal area along a shared bike and foot path.

Kauai's Ke Ala Hele Makalae project, on the east shore, is already in the works. Paths have been built through Lydgate Park, and from Kapaa north to Ahihi Point at total of about 7 miles. Current construction will connect the two paths, and move to the north and south.
