Aloha Festivals is a statewide, multi-cultural festival formed in 1946 and now held each September on the six major Hawaiian Islands. This non-profit organization features over 100 events, including parades, street parties, cultural displays and demonstrations and more. Staged by thousands of island volunteers and attended by over a million people statewide, Aloha Festivals is Hawaii's premier festival showcasing Hawaiian culture and the state's multi-ethnic diversity. Most events are free; discounts offered to Aloha Festivals ribbon wearers. The web site features the statewide schedule of events, including full descriptions and beautiful photos, information on the year's theme, history of Aloha Festivals and more. E-commerce site offers official Aloha Festivals merchandise and an opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation to or join as a member of this very special festival.
